Bake Off: Baked Celebrities returns with a dramatic premiere on La 1
The Spanish version of Bake Off: Baked Celebrities opened its fifth premiere on La 1. Paula Vazquez bid farewell to Toni Salazar, who ended up broken and crowned the first sibling duo on the show. Patxi Salinas earned the title of the best pastry chef in this round.
The premiere brought big changes. In the technical challenge, the contestants crafted tea pastries while the judges evaluated the results. Julio Salinas, Blas Canto, and Yolanda Ramos served on the panel. Yet Alba Carrillo rose into the top three, showing clear frustration with her own standing after feeling she deserved a higher placement. In the end, the jury selected between Marc Clotet and Terelu Campos, declaring the host the standout of the initial test.
Sharone then arrived to add a hint of whimsy to the tent. The new task required the participants to bake a playful cake and share a heartfelt failed attempt with their friends. Alba Carrillo admitted she was not satisfied with her performance during this round, and the trio confessed their concerns in front of the pastry chefs.
After a moment of reflection, Eva Arguiñano, Damian Betular, and Paco Roncero identified Yolanda Ramos and Julio Salinas as the weaker contenders. Yet the first star pastry chef apron went to Terelu Campos, who dedicated it to her mother and sent a kiss to heaven. In the end, Julio Salinas was sent home, and the remaining siblings found themselves split apart, with one sister remaining in the tent and the other stepping away.
