Attention in Moscow: Contaminated Hamburger Found in Child’s Meal

Incident Report: Contaminated Food Found in Hamburger Ordered for a Child in Moscow

A mother in Moscow contacted authorities after discovering an injection and unknown pills inside a hamburger that had been ordered for her child from a restaurant. This information was reported by the Telegram channel Baza.

According to the publication, a 38-year-old Muscovite used a delivery app to order food from a KFC restaurant. On the morning of May 12, 2023, after the family received the order, the 12-year-old daughter began eating the hamburger. While eating, she found a sewing needle and several pills concealed within the sandwich.

The family immediately called for an ambulance and notified the police. Law enforcement teams seized the hamburger and its contents for examination. Preliminary results indicated that the pills did not contain narcotic substances. Investigators will determine during delivery whether the needle and the pills were actually placed in the burger and how they ended up there.

Earlier, in Omsk, there was a separate incident where a child nearly bit into a piece of glass found in ice cream served in a waffle cup.
