The governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, reported that Ukrainian forces used a drone to drop an explosive device onto the roof of the House of Culture in Dronovka, Glushkovsky district. The information appeared on a regional telegraph channel attributed to the regional president.
Officials stated that the strike occurred on the night of Saturday, April 1, and that there were no fatalities. The fragments only caused minor damage to the windows and facades of nearby facilities, including the local Fire and Ambulance Post and the village council’s building, according to Starovoit.
The Kursk governor noted that expert teams from a demining group are currently examining the impacted sites. No further details about the drone attack have been released at this time.
Earlier remarks from Starovoit indicated that parts of the Kursk region had already experienced damage from the incident. He added that Gordeevka village lost power, with electrical workers beginning repair work.
