According to information circulated on a Telegram channel, a man carried out an arson attack aimed at a car service, with individuals present inside the building. The incident is linked to what has been described as a revenge-driven motive, reported as occurring near a local service facility in Omsk.

Authorities described an unknown fire that erupted outside a technical room located at 33 Severnaya Street in Omsk. Security camera footage captured the moment the assailant walked past the building carrying a metal container. In the clip, he pours the contents into the left edge of the door and then ignites the substance using a lighter.

The blaze spread rapidly, soon covering most of the door area. In reaction, several occupants hurriedly exited and some bystanders attempted to suppress the flames with available means.

Two painters were reportedly present at the gas station nearby when the incident occurred. The workers who fought the flames with their own resources contacted police to report the event.

At the time of the report, law enforcement had already detained the individual believed to be involved in the crime. A criminal case has been opened, and investigators indicate that revenge is currently viewed as the principal motivation behind the defendant’s actions.

In a separate note, earlier reporting mentioned a patient from a St. Petersburg sobering facility who allegedly set fire to materials in a secured room; the incident was captured on video.
