A 54-year-old man was arrested inside the Alicante region on accusations of sexual assault involving his underage nephew. According to statements provided by the victim, the accused is alleged to have sexually assaulted her and offered her small amounts of money in exchange for assistance in winning favors. He also allegedly supplied small amounts of cocaine, referred to locally as “papelinas,” and purportedly requested the help of the victim in delivering these drugs to third parties.
The arrest followed an intervention by the National Police after the minor and his mother reported the situation. The Minor Protection Group from the Alicante Provincial Police Station documented the complaint and proceeded with the investigation, coordinating with relevant authorities to ensure the safety of the minor and witnesses.

Police officers identified and detained the alleged attacker along with his wife, who is described as the victim’s aunt, on charges related to drug trafficking. The couple’s residence was searched, yielding 24 bags containing cocaine consistent with the victim’s description. Investigators also seized a precision scale and other equipment used in drug handling, in addition to other quantities of cocaine, marijuana, and cash linked to the case.
The detainees were transported to the courthouse once processing was complete. The Education Court in Villena scheduled the appearance of the victim, who was summoned to address the possibility of a suspension order related to the case.
