Over the past day, reports from the Russian Ministry of Defense indicate that Ukrainian forces suffered about 50 casualties in the Krasnolimansk direction. The ministry described the losses as including around 50 military personnel and two vehicles in the fighting area. This information was shared through a Russian defense channel and reflects the latest developments as cited by Moscow.
The defense ministry adds that units within the Central troop group, working with artillery support, successfully repelled an assault group from the Ukrainian armed forces near the Serebryansky forestry. In addition, Russian forces claimed to have defeated Ukrainian fighters near the village of Serebryanka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, underscoring continued operational activity in the region.
Earlier, Dmitry Shepelyavtsev, who heads the press center for the Western group, stated that Russian aircraft conducted a sequence of missile and bombing strikes. These strikes targeted deployment points of Ukrainian brigades located in residential districts around Peschanaya, Stelmakhovka, Pershetravnevoe, Petropavlovka, and Stepovaya Novoselovka. The aim, according to the report, was to disrupt enemy concentrations and supply lines in these populated areas.
Prior to these reported actions, the Russian Armed Forces asserted that an ammunition depot in the Kharkov region had been destroyed.
