Andrei Stasyukevich, the former head of a police district in Sergiev Posad under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, faces accusations of setting fire to a house belonging to a participant in a special military operation in Istra. This information appeared on the VK page titled The Life of Sergiev Posad.

According to reports, Stasyukevich currently serves as the general director of a security organization in the Moscow region. Preliminary details indicate that the arson targeted the soldier’s house in January 2024, and fortunately no one was harmed in the incident.

The house owner, Roman Nechaev, reportedly left his job in April 2023 to volunteer with the Northern Military District. Prior to that, Nechaev worked at Management Company LLC, where tensions arose with a new manager, Yakubov K., who took over the role from his father. It is said that Nechaev was informed of an outstanding debt that needed monthly payments, and thereafter pressure on his family increased with threats to burn the house.

According to the source, Yakubov’s lawyer, M. Kochergin, was detained in connection with the arson case. The records indicate that Nechaev and Stasyukevich visited Kochergin’s wife and issued threats. On Thursday, Stasyukevich was also detained in court as part of the proceedings.

There were prior reports noting that individuals who assault an SVO participant in a Stavropol region bar could face up to seven years in prison. This information continues to unfold as investigations proceed and authorities clarify the sequence of events surrounding the incident.
