On the seventh, a woman leveled accusations against her ex-husband, alleging that he mistreated neighbors and his eight-year-old son for three consecutive days in Oviedo. The boy reportedly endured abuse during his most recent stay at his father’s home, according to testimony given by the child. He stated that the defendant forced him to eat his own feces after an episode of soiling, while the current partner allegedly recorded the incident on a cellphone and threatened to share the video with his classmates at school.
The complainant expressed astonishment at the events. She explained that on September 6, her ex-brother-in-law, with whom she previously had a good relationship, handed the child over at four in the afternoon, a time earlier than their usual handoff at eight. Upon reuniting with the boy, she observed injuries on the face, a wound and a puncture on the upper lip, a bruise on the neck, and marks on the chin and nape that suggested recent abuse.
Earlier, the visibly angry parent attempted to contact the mother to report misbehavior and harm caused by the underage child, including an assertion that he had soiled himself. The uncle who had been responsible for supervising the child then remained with the mother and completed the usual handover process.
During the handover of the young one, the mother noted multiple wounds and tearful eyes on the child. He told her that both his father and his partner had assaulted him for three days and had compelled him to swallow his excrement as a punishment for his behavior, a claim that underscores the severity of the alleged abuse.
The events are under investigation, and the complainant’s legal representative has sought the suspension of visitation rights with the father, although the minor has not seen him since the incident. The parent is scheduled to provide a formal statement in court next week to present her account of the events.
