Budgets for 2024 outline several judicial infrastructure projects planned by the Botànic Generalitat, with a spotlight on the Alicante City of Justice project. The overall allocation for this flagship initiative stands at 65.5 million euros, distributed over three years, including a provision of 23 million euros in the 2024 accounts. In parallel, a new headquarters for the Alicante Community Trademark courts, which handles matters in the Commercial jurisdiction, is being developed to streamline operations that are currently housed in multiple locations. In 2024, 89 thousand euros were earmarked for this project, with completion expected in 2025 and total funding projected at 1.8 million euros. An additional investment of 1.6 million euros is allocated to the file archive facility in Alicante to address the high density of judicial archives, ensuring accessible, efficient record keeping.
