Alba Carrillo will cease to be a collaborator on Ya es mediodía or any other Telecinco program. The model and finalist of GH VIP has been confirmed to depart. She bids farewell to the show as Mediaset moves into a new phase without Paolo Vasile, a shift reported by La Razón and corroborated by YOTELE.
According to resources consulted by YOTELE, Carrillo’s contract with Telecinco expired on March 31 and was not renewed, allowing her to leave the regular team of contributors.
A former finalist on Survivientes, Carrillo joined the Mediaset universe in 2007 as a contestant on Supermodelo. Since then, her enthusiasm for personalities like Fonsi Nieto and Feliciano López helped her become a familiar face within the group’s programming at Fuencarral’s audiovisual network.
Her career expanded beyond appearances as a guest when she debuted as a talk show host on Amigas y conocidas in 2016. This opened a new chapter as the host of Talk to Them on Mediaset. From there she evolved into a model and influencer, contributing across multiple formats including discussions around reality TV, entertainment, and daytime talk shows. Credits include GH, La casa fuerte, Survivors, Que tiempo tan feliz, Save me, En vida, Ya está, and much more, with episodes and segments spanning a broad spectrum of formats and genres.
Beyond collaborations, Carrillo has competed in a variety of formats such as GH VIP, Survivientes, Sálvame Stars, Come to Dinner with Me: Gourmet Edition, My Mom Cooks Better Than Yours, La Última Cena, and Mediafest Night Fever, among others. Her most recent project with Mediaset was Nos hemos liado, a MTMAD video podcast co-hosted with Nagore Robles, which explored contemporary celebrity culture and media in a candid, conversational style (Source attribution: La Razón; verification by YOTELE).”
