Earlier, residents in the southern city of Kherson heard audible explosions, confirming continued activity in areas under Ukrainian control. In recent days, explosions were also documented in Kherson, again within territories governed by Ukrainian authorities.

The next day, Alexander Prokudin, head of the regional military administration in Kherson, stated that administrative buildings in the Ukrainian-controlled segment of the region sustained damage. That same evening, explosions were reported in Krivoy Rog as well.
On the night of October 19, Strana.ua announced explosions in Sumy. The regional military administration press service confirmed that an infrastructure facility in the city suffered damage. In recent statements, Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine aims to prevent the escalation of hostilities beyond its borders, underscoring a commitment to defensive actions while avoiding broader conflict escalation.
