Aena reported a net profit of 1,449.8 million euros for January through September, up 27.3% from 1,139.1 million in the same period last year, according to accounts filed with the National Securities Market Commission, CNMV. The earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) reached 2,663.3 million euros in the first nine months, with a margin of 60.6%. This figure represents a 26% increase compared with 2023’s 2,113.6 million.
In terms of consolidated revenue, the airport operator posted a total of 4,396.7 million euros, up 16.3% from the prior year. Of this total, aeronautical revenues rose 14.6% and commercial revenues increased 16.6%.

Passenger traffic across the Aena Group, which includes Spain, London Luton, and the Aena Brasil airports, rose to 282.5 million passengers in the year to date, up 8.9%. In Spain, traffic rose 9.8%, reaching 237.8 million passengers. The increase signals a solid rebound in travel demand as economies recover and tourism activity returns, supported by ongoing improvements in passenger services and airport efficiency.
The consolidation of the 11 airports within the so‑called BOAB network, managed by Aena Brasil, contributed 136.1 million euros to revenue and 74.9 million euros to EBITDA. Meanwhile, the paid investments between January and September 2024 totaled 623.4 million euros, focused mainly on upgrading facilities and enhancing operational safety at the airports.
