Adriana Abenia is poised to launch a fresh professional project starting next season, stepping onto Telemadrid as a communicator and collaborator across notable formats such as People’s Mirror and Mangal World, with a recent, strategic hosting role on the Madrid edition of Wandering. The production approach is aligned with Telemadrid’s intent to premiere post-summer, a plan that has already been quietly mapped by YOTELE.
The show Callejeando is set to arrive on the Madrid public channel, following its strong run on Canal Sur. Across each episode, the team’s correspondents explore some of the most emblematic corners of the eight Andalusian provinces. In these journeys they meet neighbors who are guided by specialists with deep knowledge of the history, legends, and anecdotes that breathe life into each street and square. Some segments brim with curiosity, while others spotlight personalities with international recognition whose stories illuminate the local landscape.
Abenia will not carry this new project alone. Oscar Martínez will join her as a co‑presenter, bringing his distinctive charisma and experience to the screen. Luis Muñoz will be responsible for guiding audiences through the streets beyond Madrid, helping viewers discover hidden routes and distinctive neighborhoods with a fresh perspective.
The format, crafted by Grupo ADM and known for productions such as Andalucía Directo and Andalucía de Fiesta, blends pure entertainment with informative disclosures. It invites audiences to rediscover familiar streets from earlier days and uncover the histories that lie behind them. The show also shines a light on corners of the city that have remained magical and overlooked for years, revealing stories and scenes that might otherwise stay hidden.
In this sense, Adriana Abenia is broadening her professional horizons within Telemadrid, where she has mainly appeared as a guest in programs focusing on the segments Perfect People and Catch Me If You Can Make It Famous. Over the span of a long and varied career, the Zaragoza-born presenter has led or contributed to formats such as Sour Strawberry on Telecinco, Give It All, I Love Aragon on Aragón TV, Take a Selfie on Cuatro, and Are You Playing or What? on La 1. She has also been involved in the Iris Awards ceremony, contributing to the broader awards program.
Beyond presenting roles, Abenia has made her mark as a regular reporter or collaborator on multiple television programs. She has contributed to No Further, Save Me, This Is How Things Work, Friends and Acquaintances, and Four a Day, while also participating in the latest issue Look Who’s Dancing on TVE’s La 1. Her career trajectory demonstrates a versatile engagement with both entertainment and public-interest storytelling, a combination that aligns well with the new Madrid project and its emphasis on exploring local life with balance and insight.
