Administrative Fine for Insult in Messenger Exchange: Novosibirsk Case

A resident of the Novosibirsk region faced a fine after making a hostile remark to an interlocutor from Moscow in a business message on a widely used messenger. This outcome was confirmed by the district attorney’s office.

The Moscow-based party reported the insult to law enforcement, leading investigators to determine that a man from the village of Maslyanino directed a disrespectful remark at his business contact during official correspondence. The evidence gathered established that the exchange contained language that demeaned the recipient in a professional setting.

Consequently, a case was opened under the administrative offense related to insulting another person in a manner that violates accepted norms of morality and dignity in a business context. The court imposed a fine of three thousand rubles on the defendant.

Additionally, there is a separate note concerning a former principal of a Russian school who was fined for issues connected to inadequate heating in classrooms, which affected the school environment.
