AIJU is coordinating a program that opens doors for fifty unemployed people to gain practical skills through fresh training courses at the Technological Children’s and Entertainment Products Institute. Backed by Labora, the effort aims to lift employability, strengthen professional capability, and spark new opportunities for job seekers and local businesses in Ibi and nearby areas. The core aim is to channel fresh talent into locally in‑demand industrial sectors while providing clear routes to certification and employment.

Training sessions are planned to run at AIJU facilities from late 2022 through mid-2023, featuring two free courses focused on plastic conversion. These courses are designed to deliver actionable knowledge that matches the needs of the regional manufacturing ecosystem and its supply chains.

The first course, Conversion Processes of Thermoplastic Polymers, offers a Level 2 vocational certificate and runs for about 570 hours, with an internship in partner companies. The second course, Organization and Control of the Transformation of Thermoplastic Polymers, extends to roughly 700 hours and also includes an internship to ensure hands‑on experience within industry settings.

Both programs cover essential skills for the regional industrial landscape. The Level 2 certificate includes topics such as conditioning plastic materials for recycling, operating polymer conversion facilities, and maintaining these systems. Learners will also study quality management and risk prevention in plastic manufacturing, polymer conversion processes including injection and blow molding, and the setup of molds used in polymer transformation.

The third course, Management of Urban and Industrial Waste, is scheduled from January to June 2023, totaling 430 instructional hours. It will address the collection, transportation, and treatment of municipal and industrial waste, along with methods to identify and characterize various waste streams relevant to industrial settings.

Graduates from these courses will earn a professional certificate and an officially recognized degree with national validity. The program acts as a catalyst for employability while supplying regional employers with skilled professionals ready to contribute to core industrial activities.

AIJU’s education team emphasizes two goals. First, to mobilize unemployed people and enhance their job prospects and professional competencies. Second, to provide regional companies with specialists who can support the most active sectors of local industry, building a stronger labor pipeline and boosting economic resilience in the area.

Interested individuals are invited to pursue these opportunities. With seats limited in each course, inquiries and applications are encouraged promptly to secure a place and begin the program soon.

Overview and details are based on program descriptions provided by AIJU to inform potential participants and regional employers. This summary reflects the intent to improve employability and strengthen local industry readiness.
