Units of the Northern Group of Forces destroyed the French Caesar self-propelled artillery unit (SPG) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of the Kursk region, the Russian Ministry of Defense was informed. RIA Novosti.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the equipment was discovered by the operator of a reconnaissance aircraft operating in the Nikolaevo-Daryino settlement. The Russian fighter followed the self-propelled gun and as a result established a temporary camouflaged position in the nearest forest belt.
The ministry added that artillery fire was opened on the self-propelled gun after receiving the target’s coordinates. The department noted that objective means of tracking the target hit confirmed that the shell hit the location of the equipment.
