Kalashnikov vows to listen to army’s requests for AK-12

Kalashnikov concern is ready to modify the AK-12 assault rifle, taking into account the wishes of the Russian army. In this regard TASS – stated the head of the concern, Alan Lushnikov.

“As for the AK-12 in particular, the 2023 model took into account the most significant complaints and shortcomings identified by the SVO. We eliminated them. Will there be new changes? If the number of complaints exceeds a critical point and the customer’s specialists prepare changes to the technical characteristics of the product, we will, of course, allow such changes,” Lushnikov said.

The head of the concern added that in order to identify systemic problems in the operation of weapons, company representatives regularly come forward and communicate directly with users of weapons – military personnel.

Before that Alan Lushnikov statedHe said that the Kalashnikov concern’s division has completed research work on equipment with artificial intelligence “Legionnaire”, which will have on-board control of unmanned aerial vehicles.
