According to investigators, since January 2023, three local residents signed fictitious documents with foreigners, within the framework of which an individual entrepreneur allegedly hired workers. The documents helped foreigners to legally stay in the territory of the Russian Federation.
Thanks to this, the residents of the region “employed” at least 500 people. It is known that they received money for their activities.
All three were detained, a criminal case was opened against them, the defendants were already charged and the court chose preventive measures against each of them. So one of the men was given a recognizance not to leave the premises, the other was detained, his wife cannot perform certain actions. Details were not disclosed.
The necessary investigative measures are currently being carried out to help determine the circumstances.
