Moscow court recovers 26 million rubles from former employee of the Investigative Committee and his family

The Moscow Khoroshevsky Court seized more than 26 million rubles and real estate from the former employee of the central apparatus of the RF IC Alexander Kireev, as well as his father and mother. This is reported by TASS.

“The court decided to fully satisfy the claim of the Deputy Prosecutor General against AS Kireev, SI Kireev and N. Kireeva. The judge ruled to collect from them jointly and severally 26 million 213 thousand rubles for the benefit of the state.

The court assessed that this amount was equal to the value of the Kireev family property, which the prosecutor’s office considered to have acquired illegally. The court also transferred to the state three non-residential buildings and four parking lots belonging to the family.

As noted, 17 criminal cases related to corruption were opened against Kireev.

A representative of the prosecutor’s office told the agency that a former employee of the Investigative Committee bought several luxury apartments in 2017, but his legal income did not allow it. He transferred part of the property to his family. Kireev’s father told the court that his son bought the property with his own savings, as well as money given to him by himself and his mother. But the court and the prosecutor’s office were not convinced by these allegations.
