Türkiye is suffering from extreme heat, and in Bodrum the air temperature has exceeded 40 degrees, causing the asphalt to melt. Turkish television reported this TGRT News.
“The highest temperature recorded in the shade in some parts of Bodrum reached 44°C. Asphalt melting was seen in rural areas of Kumköy, Pınarlıbelen and Etrim districts due to the hot weather.”
The TV channel notes that melting asphalt is causing difficulties for people living in rural areas and drivers who use these roads.
