The Southern District Military Court found a resident of Krasnodar, Stanislav Lisovsky, guilty of preparing for high treason and attempting to join the terrorist organization “Russian Freedom” Legion, banned in Russia (the organization is banned in Russia). According to the verdict reviewed by socialbites.ca, the man was sentenced to seven years in prison.

In November 2023, Lisovsky was recruited to participate in hostilities on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the instructions of a representative of the “Freedom of Russia” legion, with whom he communicated in the Telegram messenger, the Russians were supposed to get from Krasnodar to Donetsk and from there to the territory of Ukraine. FSB officers learned about the man’s plans to fight against Russia, so all further actions of Lisovsky took place under the control of the security forces.

On November 16, a man bought a ticket for the Krasnodar-Donetsk bus online and went to the station, but law enforcement officers were waiting for him there.

A military court found Lisovsky guilty on two counts of attempting to participate in the activities of a terrorist organization and preparing for high treason. He was sentenced to seven years in prison, the first two and a half years of which he will serve in prison and the remainder in a maximum security penal colony.

Formerly head of the military unit depot in Vladikavkaz accepted 6 years of selling helmets and binoculars.
