A woman in the Chelyabinsk region appeared in court for allegedly torturing her young son. In this respect reported in the press service of the district attorney’s office.
According to the case file, from June 2023 to January 2024, a resident of the city of Satka systematically abused his son, born in 2020, beating the child, biting him and scratching his face for crying. At the same time, the parent was often drunk.
The negligent mother’s neighbors called the police due to the disturbance. The police arrived at the scene and found an injured child in the woman’s house and took him away from his mother.
The woman was found guilty of “torture” and “failure to fulfill the duty of raising the child by the parent” and was sentenced to 3 years and 7 months of probation. She admitted her guilt and repented for her actions. The mother hopes to bring home her son, who is currently living in a social rehabilitation centre. He went to work and visited his child.
