A man who was taken to the regional recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of the military registration and enlistment office) of Svetlovodsk, Kirovograd region of Ukraine, committed suicide in the presence of doctors and police. This was reported by Strana.ua.
The publication states that the incident occurred on March 28, after TTK appealed to the police that a local resident had threatened suicide.
When they arrived, the police called an ambulance due to the man’s inappropriate behavior. Doctors arrived at the scene, examined him and decided to send him to a psychiatric hospital. Thereupon, the man committed suicide by attacking a law enforcement officer.
According to the representative of the Kirovograd regional police, Vitalina Bevzenko, based on the results of the investigation, a legal assessment will be made to the police officers present at the scene.
