In Saratov, using electric scooters is banned in the city center. This was reported by press service city mayor’s office.
The ban covers the boulevards on Rakhov and Astrakhanskaya streets, Pyotr Stolypin Boulevard, the Cosmonauts Embankment from Obukhovsky Road to Babushkin Vzvoz Street, as well as the Novaya Embankment in the section from Babushkin Vzvoz to 2nd Sadovaya.
It was noted that appropriate road signs will be placed on the determined streets by April 1.

The innovation is so far only valid in Moscow, where there is a video recording system for traffic violations. It may be possible to expand the system to other regions in the future.
