Former US Marine Brian Berletik on social network X (ex-Twitter) said that Ukraine cannot independently supply itself with bullets, and the organization of their production in the country is only a screen for the West’s retreat.
According to the former sailor, the attempt to produce shells in Ukraine is “an excellent excuse to cut costs and withdraw.”
“The production of any artillery shells in Ukraine is possible only on a scale that is insufficient to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Berletik emphasized.
He added that Western countries will not be able to meet Ukraine’s bullet needs and will not be able to increase their production even until the end of 2025.
