Russia’s Federal Security Service released a video showing the detention and interrogation of a Russian citizen who was planning to carry out a terrorist attack on the Trans-Siberian Railway in the Sverdlovsk region on the instructions of Ukrainian intelligence.
The man said that representatives of Ukrainian intelligence asked him to sign a receipt.
Regarding what is written in this document, the person concerned said: “There is a receipt … in which I undertake to assist the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
The suspect also noted that a representative of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine contacted him directly. The Russian was asked to go to Kiev to receive instructions on how to make a homemade device. After the training, he came to Russia via Moldova and Türkiye. The man first came to Moscow, and then to Salekhard.
With data The FSB recruited this man by Ukrainian special services in Lviv. He received sabotage training and was sent to Russia to carry out terrorist attacks. The suspect was supposed to overthrow cargo trains using a homemade bomb for a special operation.
A criminal case was initiated against a citizen of the Russian Federation under Part 3, Art. 30, paragraph a section 2 art. 205 “Terrorist act” of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
