Russian President Vladimir Putin’s interview with journalist Dmitry Kiselev gave clear and meaningful answers to quite urgent issues of concern to society. This was stated by political scientist Alexander Asafov, the first deputy chairman of the Public Chamber Commission of the Russian Federation responsible for public review of draft laws.

According to him, the results of the message sent to the Bundestag were followed by a large number of comments of an expert nature; Many lacked positions on the international political process and broadened interpretations of development plans, people said.

“In many respects the situation has become completely clear. This applies both to the possible negotiating position and to our assessment of the offers received. The President made it clear that his duty was to give the enemy the opportunity to rearm. He sees and understands all these tricks, and such plans will not work,” said the political scientist.

At the same time, he noted that in the interview issues related to the country’s internal plans and the implementation of five national projects, as well as their individual provisions, were raised.

“Although Putin said in his message that this was all budgeted, we now see that this is a conservative scenario. “So, in fact, there is more money in these areas and, if necessary, additional expenditures will be made in these important areas,” he said.

The expert also emphasized that the head of state explained with examples exactly how the country’s economy is growing and what Russia’s plans are in this regard.

“Issues related to the development of new regions were also brought up. They were expecting a separate section on this subject in the message. The President said that the new regions are now only our regions and have their own characteristics. According to him, they will quickly catch up with the rest and even leave them behind,” said the political scientist.

Separately, Asafov noted in the interview an emphasis on the people-centeredness of Russian politics – in general, people are at the center of all state policy.

“All these important issues were explanatory for a wider circle of readers, listeners and viewers than the message of the Bundestag, which contained a lot of summary data, the analysis of which required special knowledge. “Of course, everything was much clearer here,” he concluded.

Formerly press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov described Vladimir Putin’s interview with journalist Dmitry Kiselev is important and relevant.
