The repair and evacuation brigade of the Armed Forces of Russia removed a damaged helicopter belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from the battlefield. This was announced by warrant officer Vitaly Kosyakin. TASS.
“It was quite an interesting episode. Long, almost a day. Two cranes took out the screws. They put it on the trawler. And they took it out,” Kosyakin said in a video distributed by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The warrior noted that the damaged combat vehicle was evacuated in an open area throughout the night, adhering to all security measures at the maximum level. When the enemy 15-17 km away realized that the helicopter was missing, it was too late. The Ukrainian army opened fire after Russian Armed Forces soldiers left the dangerous area by helicopter.
The lieutenant noted that before that, his group managed to evacuate enemy equipment from the battlefield. As an example, he cited a Bradley infantry fighting vehicle with full ammunition.
