A man in the Tyumen region was found guilty of using violence against a government official in connection with the performance of his official duties. In this respect reports Unified press service of the regional judicial system.

Last November, the 54-year-old local caught the attention of others with his cheeky behavior at the train station. He used vulgar and obscene language, and one of the offended witnesses contacted law enforcement. The local police commissioner arrived on the scene and took the criminal to the police station to explain.

There the detainee began to swear at the police officer. He then kneed the officer in the back several times and even bit him on his right hand. A criminal case was opened against the man.

At the hearing, the defendant fully confessed his crime. Taking into account information about the identity of the perpetrator, mitigating circumstances and the absence of aggravating circumstances, the Uvatsky District Court sentenced the perpetrator to a fine of 40 thousand rubles. However, taking into account his detention, he converted the penalty from a fine to 35 thousand liras.

Earlier, a man broke into the internal affairs department with a knife and attacked a police officer.
