Simferopol and Managua, the capital of Nicaragua, are preparing to sign an agreement on sister city relations. This was reported by RIA News Regarding the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation, Georgy Muradov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Crimea.
Muradov said, “An agreement is being prepared between Simferopol and Managua, the capital of Nicaragua.”
He announced that Feodosia also plans to become related to the Belarusian city of Novopolotsk. Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimean government emphasized that all parties have already declared their readiness to sign cooperation agreements.
Muradov also announced another promising project in terms of international relations. He emphasized that the Crimean authorities have significantly intensified their work in the African direction. According to him, after the results of the second Russia-Africa summit, there is a possibility of signing cooperation agreements with the cities of many countries on the continent.
