Regional governor Alexander Drozdenko said that support from the federal budget will allow the Leningrad region to solve the problem with schools.

“New schools are urgently needed in the Vsevolozhsk, Lomonosov and Gatchina regions,” he said.

Drozdenko added that 90 schools were updated within the scope of regional renovation programs in the Leningrad region, and 62 schools needed repairs.

The governor said, “The support from the federal budget will allow us to carry out the necessary work faster.”

Drozdenko also called Russian President Vladimir Putin’s message to the Federal Assembly unprecedented in the scale of tasks and opportunities.

“Both jobs and support will be found in every business and for everyone who wants to invest strength, knowledge and work for the development of Russia. “The President is included in the broad scope of duties as possible,” he said.

According to him, the president’s message offers new opportunities to the region.

“We will make every effort to provide maximum benefit for the development of the Leningrad region, improving the quality of life and the region’s contribution to the strengthening of the country,” he said.

Let us recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin in his message to the Federal Assembly announced various decisions, including the launch of new national projects, expansion of the maternity capital and family mortgage program, new measures to support SVO participants and many others.
