British Deputy Defense Minister James Hippie, in his speech at the British Parliament House of Commons, said that London has transferred almost all of its AS-90 self-propelled artillery units (SPG) to Kiev. His words are quoted TASS.
“The United Kingdom has supplied almost all of its AS-90 heavy artillery mounts. [на вооружении] Our group in Estonia remains combat-ready,” Hippie explained.
The official added that London transferred a large amount of ammunition to Kiev, but kept the necessary supply to itself. Additionally, the United Kingdom stepped up production of 155 mm shells and began purchasing as many 152 mm and 122 mm shells as possible from around the world.
