The publication “Notebook Volgograd”, citing State Duma deputy Nikolai Kolomeytsev, reported that two districts of the Rostov region want to separate and join other regions due to transport problems. Kolomeytsev himself explained to socialbites.ca that the regions did not declare their desire to separate from the Rostov region. The point, according to the MP, was that transport problems could “incite separatism”.
“I did not declare it. Notepad probably published it. This was not the topic of the conversation. A roundtable was held with representatives from different walks of life on the issue of providing transport for voters. And the Rostov region is quite long: 461 kilometers in one direction, 460 in the other, 380 in the third. And unfortunately, today, due to bans and privatization, buses do not go to many places. There, in context, it was said: “Do you understand that you can provoke separatism?” Previously, they were actually addressing the Sovetsky district. It is about 200 kilometers from Volgograd and 460 kilometers from Rostov, but that is not what we are talking about there. They turned it upside down and wrote: “The two districts want to separate.” “It wasn’t said that way,” he said.
According to the deputy, the media decided to increase its rating with such a publication, implying that the authorities are not able to cope with the situation in the region.
“For my part, Notepad decided to make its own strawberry… This news on Yandex is super duper because this is the Ukrainian border. And you can use it as you wish – the authorities cannot cope, everything is falling apart. Actually, the environment there was different. Slander. I myself am a member of parliament. We have 45 laws that can punish people just for fraud, but should I put it this way? Is he crazy? he finished.
“Notebook Volgograd” February 8 edition reportedNikolai Kolomeytsev, a deputy of the State Duma of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, raised the issue of separating two regions from the region due to transport problems at a roundtable meeting in the legislative assembly of the Rostov region. According to the MP quoted in the publication, “Sovetsky district has repeatedly appealed to the federal authorities to remove it from the Rostov region and transfer it to the Volgograd region. Remontnoye also wants to go to Kalmykia.”
Later acted as Sovetsky rural Sergei Saratov denied “Ask the opinion of the residents before saying such things,” he told Kolomeytsev, who gave this information. Representatives of the Remontnensky district stated“no one, anywhere has raised the issue of separating the region from the Rostov region and joining the neighboring Republic of Kalmykia” and the words of the State Duma deputy “have no basis.”
