Over the last 24 hours, Russian military personnel repelled attacks by three assault groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Krasnolimansky direction. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense in its daily report on the progress of the special military operation.
The Russian defense ministry noted the improvement in the position of Russian troops on the front line and announced the defeat of Ukrainian units and the Ukrainian National Guard in the Serebryansky forest area.
“Three attacks by assault groups of the 60th and 63rd mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Yampolovka regions in the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Chervona Dibrova regions in the Lugansk People’s Republic were repelled,” the ministry said.
According to the Ministry of Defense, enemy losses amounted to more than 290 soldiers, as well as one tank, two armored fighting vehicles, six cars and the American-made Paladin self-propelled gun.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the units of the “South” group of Russian troops full more advantageous lines and positions in the Donetsk direction in a special military operations zone.
