An unidentified attacker attacked passersby with a caustic chemical in London, sending nine people, including two young children, to hospital. The Metropolitan Police reported that daily mail.
The incident took place on Lessard Avenue in the Clapham area.
A mother with two children and three other people who were injured when they came to the aid of the victims were taken to hospital. Three police officers who came to help also asked for medical help.
According to an eyewitness, the injured woman shouted: “My eyes! My eyes!”
According to preliminary police data, an unknown chemical substance was thrown at the woman and her children. A man was also seen running away from the scene. Police used all resources, including helicopters, to capture the attacker and clarify the circumstances of the incident.
