The majority of Russians surveyed (78%) evaluated the work of Russian President Vladimir Putin positively. This was reported by researchers from the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM) who conducted a survey.
The weekly FOMnibus survey was conducted on January 21, 2024 among 1.5 thousand participants over the age of 18 from 104 settlements in 53 constituent units of the Russian Federation, and participants were interviewed at their place of residence. The statistical error did not exceed 3.6%, the researchers noted.
As a result, it turned out that 77 percent of respondents trust the president, but 12 percent of Russians do not trust him very much. Additionally, 9% of respondents rated his work as quite poor.
