Most Finns are ready to defend other NATO countries. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Defense Information Planning Council (MTS). TASS.
According to the survey results, 65% of respondents completely agree that Finland should be ready to defend one of the alliance countries. 26% of Finns also somewhat agree with this statement. Compared to other NATO countries, Finland is among the leaders in this indicator.
At the same time, almost all Finns (97%) agree that other allies should come to Finland’s aid in the event of an attack. Nine out of ten people surveyed have a very positive view of Finland’s membership in NATO.
