The official noted that there was a power outage in the village first. Later, experts detected water hammer in infrastructure systems but did not convey this information to the authorities.
“The problem was that the situation was hidden, not brought into our unified heat supply control system for the Moscow region, where we saw all the events and made the appropriate decisions,” Khromushin explained.
He added that as a result, the regional administration learned about the incident from social networks and thanks to the complaints of local people. As stated by the regional deputy governor, to date emergency services have restored heat supply to 45 residences.
At the same time, the official noted that service providers should recalculate for citizens left without heating. He also said that all consequences of the accident in the Podolsk microdistrict of Klimovsk will be eliminated during the night.
