Heating in several areas of the North-Eastern Administrative Region has been partially restored following a fire at a substation. This was announced by Moscow’s Deputy Mayor for Housing, Communal Services and Improvement Pyotr Biryukov, writes Agency city news “Moscow”.

Due to the accident, power outages occurred in the North and South Medvedkovo, Bibirevo and Otradnoye regions. As a result, heating units were also shut down.
Biryukov noted that the remaining houses will be connected to the backup heating system in the near future. According to him, the city additionally allocated about 100 mobile diesel generators to ensure the operation of the backup heating system. All services are running in enhanced mode.
