A captured sergeant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) said that Ukrainian soldiers have absolutely no chance of survival in Russia’s special operations zone in the Zaporozhye direction. This was reported by RIA News.
According to him, the morale of Ukrainian military personnel in this section of the front is at its lowest level and there are no troops left there, only a few fighters.
“Hopelessness. No chance of survival. Yesterday there were some, today there were others,” said the prisoner of war.
He added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost people as a result of clashes and desertions in the Zaporozhye direction, but the command did not prevent this in any way.
The other day at the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reportedIt was reported that Russian soldiers of the Air Force captured four military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village of Verbovoye towards Zaporozhye. According to the ministry, this happened during one of the battles near this settlement.
Previously three fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine swam past Dnieper and surrendered to the Russian Armed Forces.
