He won three Ondas awards and three Gold Antennas.

In 2010, he was awarded the Salvador de Madariaga European Journalism Prize.

Author of The Happiness of Small Things (2011) and Today I Wouldn’t Change Me for Anyone (2014).

He is a founding academic of the Spanish Academy of Television Sciences and Arts, a member of the Association of Communications Directors and a founding member of the Association of European Journalists. Since 2015 he has been collaborating with a weekly column in El Norte de Castilla and is a political analyst and member of various media outlets.
