INFORMATION Starting on Tuesday, December 5, it offers its readers a practical guide to 35 restaurants from each of the Alicante region, selected to represent the rich and diverse gastronomic offer of the Alicante province. All restaurants participating in the return of “Menjars de la Terra” and hundreds of recipes served on the most popular gastronomic days of the province.
The 92-page editorial initiative, prefaced by eight Michelin-starred restaurants in the province, includes information about the restaurants as well as a complete dossier containing data on each business. For example, you can find brief information about their careers, the cuisine they prepare, or the dishes and specialties most requested by their customers.
Recognition
With this publication, INFORMACIÓN wants to reward the 35 restaurants that participated in the return of the “Menjars de la Terra” gastronomy days for their participation in the initiative. An idea that was born to support the restaurant industry after the difficult years of the pandemic and received the support of the Alicante Provincial Council from the first moment.
The project was revealed in 2021 at the opening of the exhibition organized by the Mediterranean Foundation and the Carmencita Chair of the University of Alicante, which recognizes the figure of journalist, gastronomist and writer Antonio González Pomata (1926-1996).
Information and tastes
At INFORMACIÓN we were clear that we had to participate in this tribute, and what better way to do this than to revive the legendary days of gastronomy that served in the 80s and 90s of the last century to recognize, show and praise the gastronomy of Alicante in many countries? his cases were unknown, or even unrecognized, outside his own region. Pomata ensured that the knowledge and tastes with which it already shines with its own light are recognized beyond its own sphere of influence.
The magazine will be available for purchase at newsstands for only 2.50 Euros starting from Tuesday, December 5th.
The publication will be presented at a gala at the INFORMACIÓN Club on Monday, December 4, which will bring together a broad representation of the state’s restaurant industry.
