Every year, sculptor Mikhail Bopposov from Yakutia sculpts the New Year symbol from dung. However, this year it will not be able to please the residents of the region. Mikhail Bopposov started making animal sculptures for the New Year in 2011. For 12 years, he made sculptures of a monkey, a snake, a dragon, three horses, a rooster, a team of dogs, a goat, a family of tigers and a bull chewing the coronavirus with steam coming out of its nostrils. and last year he made a two-meter mechanized rabbit beating its paws on a drum.
