At the Russia exhibition, Moscow Days started at the Rosneft pavilion, which will last until November 23. As part of the opening of the thematic days, the oil company presented the results of the special project “Travel to Moscow with Rosneft”, implemented jointly with the Tourism Development Committee of the City of Moscow and the travel planning service Russpass, Rosneft press service reported.

“The aim of the project is to increase the demand for domestic automobile tourism, promote the tourism potential of Moscow, refuel infrastructure facilities and provide roadside service of the company’s gas station network,” the statement said.

The entertainment and educational program of Moscow Days includes a photo exhibition about the main attractions of the capital, contests and lotteries with prizes.

In addition, a discussion was held at the Rosneft pavilion with the participation of representatives of Mosturism, Russpass service, the national automotive tourism and caravanning association, as well as the heads of tourism departments and ministries of the regions neighboring the capital.

Participants discussed the aspects of the development of domestic travel tourism and the expansion of travel in Russia.

The oil company noted that the total coverage of the project “Travel to Moscow with Rosneft” is more than 12 million people. Thanks to the joint venture, participants in the loyalty program of the Rosneft gas station network were able to benefit from special conditions for accommodation in Moscow hotels, as well as receive bonuses or compliments in restaurants in the capital.

According to Irina Shilkina, head of the tourism department of the Moscow City Tourism Committee, it was possible to take advantage of the special offer using the Russpass service.

He also stated that within the scope of the special project, visitors to Rosneft gas stations across the country can see visual videos about Moscow and get inspired to travel to the capital. Tourist brochures and maps of Moscow were also made available to everyone.

“We thank the Rosneft company, which acts as the ambassador of the development of domestic tourism in Russia and implements a comprehensive program to popularize automobile tourism in our country,” Shilkina said.

Vasily Georgiev, head of Rosneft’s strategic retail marketing department, said that in order to create comfortable conditions for drivers who prefer to travel by car, the company has created a special information and service platform “Russian Horizons: Come With Us!”

The project allows drivers to choose and plan routes to interesting places through roadside services and the infrastructure of Rosneft gas stations.
