Temporary shelter centers are being established for immigrants in the Karelian city of Kostomuksha, on the border with Finland. This was reported by TASS With reference to the press service of the Karelian State Committee for ensuring the livelihood and security of the population.

These temporary residence points are located near the international checkpoint “Lyuttya” (Vartius). They were created to accommodate refugees and immigrants. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies organizes these points throughout the Republic of Karelia.
