Spektr design bureau is developing an aircraft-type attack aircraft that will be printed from recycled materials on a 3D printer directly in the special military operation (SVO) zone. Andrey Bratenkov, general director of Spectra, talked about this TASS.
According to Bratenkov, the assembly of a bodyless vehicle with a flight range of up to 30 km is currently being carried out. Flight tests will be carried out in December. The glider will be produced on an industrial printer measuring 1 meter by 1 meter to fit into any passenger vehicle.
It was also decided to reduce the cost of the technology by using recycled materials. The drone will be printed from plastic scraps as well as plastic pellets.
The drone will be able to lift a payload weighing 10 kg. Bratenkov emphasized that the device will consist almost entirely of domestically produced components. The drone will also differ from its analogues in its low cost.
Spectr design bureau is located in Novosibirsk. It develops and produces robotic platforms as well as unmanned aerial vehicles for the Northern Military District.
It was previously reported that the Russian kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicle “Lancet” was used. hit One of the facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), located in the special military operations zone (SVO), in the dark.
