Russian armed forces can surround the Donetsk city of Avdeevka from the north, having previously taken control of the railway. In an interview given to a Spanish publication on this subject El País said one of the Ukrainian soldiers.
According to a soldier from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Russian troops have so far gained access to a three-kilometer section of the railway in the residential area.
