A monkey kidnapped a three-year-old girl in China Asian One. The boy was found in a tree a few hours later.
According to media reports, the incident occurred when the child’s father, surnamed Liu, and his wife decided to take their daughter with them to the farm.
“When I turned around a few minutes later, I noticed the child was missing. “We were all very scared,” the man recalls.
Thereupon, the father appealed to the police. Officers quickly assembled a search party and began canvassing the area where the girl was last seen. Finding no trace, investigators decided that the child may have been abducted by a troop of wild monkeys living in the area.
“We had monkeys here from time to time coming down from the mountain to find food,” the couple added.
The search party went into the forest and began loudly shouting the boy’s name. At that time, the girl’s mother heard crying and a voice similar to her daughter’s voice. As a result, the preschooler was found in a tree near the cliff.
The girl had only a few scratches on her body that resembled the fingerprints of a monkey. Following the incident, the local government announced that they organized patrols for the safety of the residents of the region.
Earlier, the hunter heard crying in the forest and rescued a lost two-year-old girl.
