Israeli soldiers attacked two cells of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement on the country’s border. This has been reported telegram channel Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
The statement stated that members of the Lebanese movement intend to attack Israeli territory. In this context, the IDF command decided to open fire on the border.
“IDF hit two Hezbollah terrorist cells on the Lebanese border,” the broadcast said.
According to the Israel Defense Forces press service, one of the cells of the Lebanese movement was located adjacent to the small communal settlement of Mattata. The report states that its members planned to launch numerous anti-tank missiles into Israeli territory.
Another cell was located in the Khar-Dov spur area. IDF representatives emphasized that the fighters of this detachment also planned to attack Israel with missiles.
