They tried to poison the graduates of the flight school in the city of Armavir, Krasnodar Territory, with a birthday cake. This was reported on the Telegram channel fighter bomber.
As stated in the post, the incident occurred on October 21. On this day, 77 people gathered to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the graduation of air defense pilots from the Armavir Higher Military Aviation Red Banner School.
At the same time, the celebration was interrupted when a courier delivered a 20 kilogram cake and a box of whiskey bottles to the graduates. However, it turned out that none of those present gave such an instruction. Moreover, the pilots could not find the name of the mysterious sender.
Attendees of the event at first decided that there was nothing strange about such a gift. But later, when the cake was cut, some suspected something was wrong.
As a result, one of the officers was able to obtain a security camera image of the courier delivering the package. After the man sent the photo to his friends, they identified the courier through their own channels.
According to Fighterbomber, it turned out that Melitopol is a native of the Zaporozhye city and served in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. When the university graduates learned the identity of the courier, the courier had already bought his plane ticket and was about to leave the village.
However, law enforcement officers managed to detain the man before he departed. He later admitted that the cake was made in Armavir and a strong poison was added to it.
Police are currently looking for candy sellers who accepted such an order. At the same time, none of the graduates had time to try cake and alcohol, so nothing threatens their life and health.
